Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Statistical Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques, along with hands-on experience in deep learning and large language models (LLMs). This role involves direct interaction with business stakeholders and customer FTEs, requiring excellent communication and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Apply deep learning techniques including LSTM, N-BEATS, CNN, and RNN for time series forecasting and other predictive tasks.
- Utilize LLMs for natural language processing and generative AI applications.
- Develop and optimize mathematical models using Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Programming.
- Work with optimization tools such as OpenSolver and Gurobi to solve large-scale business problems.
- Collaborate with business teams and customer FTEs to understand requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
- Participate in end-to-end modeling lifecycle including data exploration, feature engineering, model development, validation, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5-8 years of experience in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning.Proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries.Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures : LSTM, N-BEATS, CNN, RNN.Experience with LLMs and their application in real-world scenarios.Expertise in optimization techniques : Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming.Hands-on experience with optimization tools : OpenSolver, Gurobi.Proficient in Databricks and Snowflake for data engineering and model deployment.Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders and customers.Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of technology.Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.Experience working in cross-functional teams and customer-facing roles.Skills
