Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : 810 inpatient rounding in the morning Admissions : 1 average admission while on call Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Cardiology (Non-Invasive), Stress Tests, Nuclear Studies No. of Beds in Department : Not specified Trauma Level : Level III EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : TBD Specialty Backup Available : Cardiology team (rotating with 4 other physicians) Support Staff Available : RNs, APPs Reason for Coverage : New Position Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Not specified Credentialing Timeline : ~60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Rate : TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Stress Testing Nuclear Studies Inpatient Cardiology Consults Licenses : Active Ohio medical license Board : Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred Rotate with 4 other cardiologists to provide inpatient consults, office visits, and reading panels Perform nuclear studies and stress tests Round on inpatients in the morning Participate in 1 : 5 night / weekend call rotation Manage inpatient cardiology cases independently
