Cytotechnologist OR Cytology Technologist in New York City area

NEW Cytotech OR Cytotechnologist opening at a full service clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory located in New York! This laboratory is fully accredited by The College of American Pathologists (CAP), New York State Department of Health, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CLIA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Cytotechnologist on Day Shift (7am or 8am start time). The cytotech will be responsible for screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides. For consideration applicants must have:

Required:

• Bachelors in Cytotechnology OR Completion of accredited Cytology program.
• CT ASCP Certification or equivalent

Preferred:

• 2 years of previous cytology experience

This laboratory is offering a highly competitive compensation and benefits package! Compensation starts at 40/hr and goes to 58/hr. Benefits include health, dental and vision benefits, income protection programs, retirement benefits, generous PTO and paid holidays and more!
