The Position
We are seeking to fill a Vehicle Mechanic position. Under the supervision of the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, the Vehicle Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment owned by SHA.

What will you do?
Perform safety and preventative maintenance inspections on a wide range of fleet vehicles such as EVs, cargo vans, light / medium duty trucks and forklifts. Repair any and all issues found to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
Efficiently perform tire repairs / replacement as needed on light duty vehicles.
Must be proficient in performing Engine, electrical, transmission, and NVH diagnostics on electric, gas, and diesel vehicles.
Ability to follow vendor installation instructions on various upfit accessories. Ability to weld and perform sheet metal work.
Ability to communicate with and assist teammates as needed.
Demonstrate ability to keep shop clean, organized, and stocked to minimize any hazards as well as maximize efficiency. Maintain shop tools and equipment.
Shop safety is a
priority . Must demonstrate ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
