The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Lifeguard for the morning and daytime shifts. Our Lifeguards enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment. Earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $14.85 hourly, with opportunity of increase every 750 hours worked.
As part of our Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in the safety of the patrons of Renaud Center in and around the pool. Generally, you'll work daytime schedules approximately 25 hours per week.
As a Lifeguard, your duties and responsibilities will include:
We're looking for someone who is a great communicator and interested in learning a variety of practical water skills, including water rescue. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures, including pool operation guidelines and principles and the use of pool chemicals. Availability to work evenings and weekend shifts is required.
