Dearborn, MI to identify an
Accounts Receivable Analyst for a
contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in accounts receivable who is looking to grow into a long-term position within a stable, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and resolve discrepancies or short-payments.
- Perform collections outreach via phone and email while maintaining professional customer relationships.
- Research and resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, and unapplied cash.
- Maintain accurate AR aging reports and support month-end close activities.
- Partner with internal teams such as Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve account issues.
- Assist with documentation and reporting to support audits and internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the AR function.
What We're Looking For- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a related accounting role.
- Solid understanding of AR processes, cash application, and collections.
- Experience working in an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred).
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, lookups, and basic data analysis).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professional communication skills and comfort interacting with customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
