Accounts Receivable Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients in Dearborn, MI to identify an Accounts Receivable Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in accounts receivable who is looking to grow into a long-term position within a stable, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and resolve discrepancies or short-payments.
• Perform collections outreach via phone and email while maintaining professional customer relationships.
• Research and resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, and unapplied cash.
• Maintain accurate AR aging reports and support month-end close activities.
• Partner with internal teams such as Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve account issues.
• Assist with documentation and reporting to support audits and internal controls.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the AR function.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a related accounting role.
• Solid understanding of AR processes, cash application, and collections.
• Experience working in an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred).
• Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, lookups, and basic data analysis).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Professional communication skills and comfort interacting with customers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
