Responsibilities Position is in a hospital Level 1 OB unit with 18 LDRP beds, 4 triage beds, and 2 ORs Candidates must be able to flex between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units Patient ratios are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on acuity 60–65 deliveries per month with 24 / 7 in-house OBGYN and CRNA coverage Shift is 12-hour nights with every other weekend and every other holiday required Uses Epic EHR, Obix for tracings, and GE monitors for fetal monitoring Scrubs are provided on the unit Must provide care for laboring women, newborns, postpartum mothers, and perform triage duties Team includes secretaries, OB techs, and LPNs depending on census Testing modules may be required as part of onboarding Holiday and every other weekend coverage is required Scrub attire is provided by the unit Local candidates accepted at a local pay rate Requirements Active RN license in OH or a compact state Minimum 1 year of RN experience required BLS certification required prior to direct patient care Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred or must obtain within 6 months Pass / fail EKG test required on first day, with study guides provided and two attempts allowed Experience with Epic EHR preferred Ability to circulate and recover C-sections required; scrubbing C-sections is a bonus but not required Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625221.
