NOW HIRING!!! Maintenance Technician needed for custom wire and steel products leading manufacturing company located in Columbus, OH. We are seeking a strong Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic candidate to repair and perform maintenance fixtures on various warehouse machinery. This position is a temp to hire opportunity, payrate based on prior experience, education / or certification. All maintenance technicians are welcomed to apply. Company is seeking full-time, maintenance mechanics with at least 2 or more years of experienced preferred. Electrical background a plus. See available positions below...
- 1st Shift Weekend Shift : 7am to 7 : 30pm (Friday Saturday & Sunday only )
Starting payrate : $32 per hour, based on level of experience and preventative maintenance skills, all payrates to be determined by hiring managers.
Skills and Requirements :
Education2 years of experience in maintenance techCommunicationSome experience in food manufacturing industryStrong mechanical knowledge and aptitudeProficiency in English (both written and verbal)Experience with electrical systems, including reading schematics and working with logic controllersAbility to weld and fabricate parts as neededSome familiarity with CMMS softwareJob Summary : Maintenance Mechanic position requires professional level preventative machine mechanical repair experience but is NOT limited to the following :
Perform highly diversified maintenance repairs on manufacturing machinery, electrical repairs, compressors systems / or other warehouse machineryGeneral Maintenance for the machines we use, Strapping machine, Horizontal, vertical, and handheld units, Shrink tunnels, shrink machines, and seal press machines, Conveyers, powered and non-poweredDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issuesRepair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipmentFabricate parts as needed to complete repairRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and logic controllerUtilize a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts usedAssist in developing preventive maintenance schedulesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environmentWork on new installations of all powered industrial equipment / Electrical and non-electrical repairs and troubleshooting throughout facilityPerform all work as assigned while adhering to established standards associated with workmanship and safety, OSHA, GMPs ect.Responsible for the safe and dependable operating condition of all equipment in the facility.Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment to perform repairs, cleaningPerforms all work safely and efficiently per safety standardsAll candidates must interview and submit detailed resume showing their prior experience to meet company demands.
