Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a home health assignment serving adults in Prince Georges County, Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Home health setting serving adult patients in Prince Georges County
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift (5x8 hours, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM)
  • Caseload includes 6 home visits per day
  • Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate location
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • One time-off request allowed during contract
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year
  • Nicotine-free policy enforced; a positive nicotine drug screen will result in cancellation
  • Modules completed during orientation and annually via Relias or Net Learning portal
  • Two supervisory references required for consideration
  • Dress code and other onboarding information provided during orientation

    • Requirements

  • Active MD State Occupational Therapist license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Comfort working independently with adult patients in home health
  • License required if applicable
