Overview
Account Manager - Microsoft Advertising at Microsoft. We are seeking top performing account executives with digital advertising experience to drive revenue and increase client satisfaction by developing strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligned to the client’s advertising needs. Responsibilities
- Proactively solicit feedback on additional advertising needs, products, and features and ensure the feedback reaches the right stakeholders to drive client solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day inquiries, managing client needs, escalations, billing, compliance requirements, and related issues.
- Educate clients on the Microsoft Advertising platform and articulate Microsoft’s strategy and services to create a mutually beneficial business value proposition; stay informed on the search landscape.
- Adopt Microsoft sales strategies and address client objections, selling tailored solutions and securing buy-in and execution.
- Research clients’ advertising needs (KPIs, competition, market trends) to identify opportunities for optimizations and new solutions.
- Present tailored solutions based on client insights and maintain knowledge of industry trends, technology, and KPIs beyond a single product.
- Share competitive insights and act as a subject matter expert while embodying the company culture and values.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s in Sales, Marketing, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of equivalent experience.1+ year of experience managing hands-on search advertising campaigns and other performance-based digital marketing campaigns.Preferred Qualifications :
MBA with 4+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing hands-on search advertising campaigns and other performance-based digital marketing campaigns.2+ years of experience in online media or Search Engine Marketing sales and service.Salary information : The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year, with location-based variations (San Francisco Bay Area and NYC metropolitan area ranges also listed).
