Overview
Field Service Engineer position in the Charlotte, NC market. Segra is open to hiring at various levels based on candidate experience and competency.
Responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for day-to-day activities of the network, including equipment installation and commissioning, circuit / node turn-up and testing, and management of customer premise equipment (Ethernet Network Interface Devices, Routers, Data Switches, premise Firewalls, IADs, Hosted phones, ONTs). Duties include preventive maintenance and testing / troubleshooting of transport infrastructure, switching infrastructure, and IP / Data networks. Field Operations personnel will perform on-call duties as required. The FSE will interact with internal and external customers, service technicians, technical support personnel, and other telecom professionals.
