As a Maintenance Technician, you will be assisting Management in performing preventative maintenance of all aspects of electrical systems, buildings, and common areas. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and assisting in the daily and emergency maintenance of the Park.
Responsibilities :
Overseeing the proper operating testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems in the Park.Assisting in the oversight and performance of daily park maintenance while ensuring the quality and timeliness of Park staff as well as contractors.Ensure that all work orders and service requests are carried out promptly, efficiently, following the established procedures.Assists in the maintenance of the Parks systems such as HVAC and plumbing.Communicates effectively and promptly with Management and Front Office Staff.Assisting other maintenance staff with more complex maintenance tasks.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Monitor and repair the water main and well systems for the Park to ensure adequate water supply for residents, guests and employees.Assist in performing plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets and showers using methods that include soldering, PVC, CPvc and fittings.Respond to utility / park infrastructure emergencies during and after work hours.Responsible for preventive maintenance programs on all systems such as HVAC, well, pool certification, ect.Assist the Management Team and perform other duties as needed.Requirements :
As a Maintenance Technician, you must be hard-working, reliable and focused on providing exceptional customer service. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High School Diploma or GED.5+ years of general maintenance or construction experience, electrical, plumbing, structural and appliances repair is preferred.Required to attend the required safety training courses within 30 days of employment.Proficient skills in operating various hand tools and power equipment.Must be able to work using electrical safety protocols and practices.Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel and Email, preferred.Must be able to work independently and mentor others.Must be able to work 40 hours a week and have flexible hours depending on high demand peak times of the year.Able to assist with the overall safety and security of the park and residents.A valid Drivers License and pass a consumer credit and criminal background screening.Submit a pre-employment drug screening and post-employment random screenings.A pre-employment test may be administered during the interview process.
