The Electronics Technician will assist in the development, testing, troubleshooting, assembly, and calibration of analog and digital circuitry for industrial instrumentation according to schematics and specifications.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development, testing, and troubleshooting of analog and digital circuitry.
Assemble and calibrate industrial instrumentation according to schematics and specifications.
Conduct thorough testing using oscilloscopes, meters, and signal generators.
Read and interpret schematics and test plans.
Identify and work with various electronic components such as diodes, resistors, and integrated circuits.
Essential Skills
AS Degree or EET Degree in Electronics or a similar field.
1+ years of experience with electronics troubleshooting on PCBs.
Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, and signal generators.
Ability to read schematics and test plans.
Proficiency in identifying electronic components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on bench testing skills with typical electronic laboratory test instruments.
Proficient with soldering irons and crimping tools.
Experience in troubleshooting printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Familiarity with digital circuitry, including micro-processor busses, digital logic gates, multiplexors, and decoders.
Familiarity with analog circuitry, such as op-amp circuits, discrete MOSFETs, BJTs, and power regulation circuitry.
Experience in prototyping and modifying PCB circuits with through-hole and SMT components.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment, working closely with the IT / Electronics team consisting of approximately 10-12 people. The team operates in a business casual dress code. The work environment encourages a strong team-oriented atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Princeton Junction, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
