Sourcing Analyst

The Field Supply Chain Team in North America immediately needs a Sourcing Analyst whose responsibilities will include purchasing material for the central procurement of Non-Otis full systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Conducting RFP / RFQ exercises, both for both pre and post award NE / MOD contracts in collaboration with all NAA field local offices
- Present FSC determined material source & defined pricing proposal to NAA field local office; ensuring strong communication to ensure material requirements are fulfilled & customer expectations are met
- Prepare purchase orders (PO) for Non-Otis cab systems & sub-systems sourced from national and international suppliers; ensure supplier compliance with Otis Terms and Conditions
- Focus for this role will be estimate and sourcing Otis material through Otis MOD eLog system on behalf of the local field offices to capitalize on savings with 3rd party full systems vendors, and incorporate Otis material into majority of 3rd party full systems packages
- Responsible for managing the Otis material through delivery and installation phase, coordinating with OSC MOD team to ensure correct package ordering and configuration, and installation and integration of material is efficient
- Ensure supplier PO and price confirmation; responsible for utilizing negotiating techniques to ensure material pricing is supplier's best offer
- Manage material logistics; ensure on-time deliveries, proper inventory level, and support services rates / performance metrics
- Monitor material and labor execution of centrally sourced material; actual vs estimate performance, market intelligence creation & definition
- Work with OSC's Customer Service, MOD, FLO, Engineering, and UNITEC, and external Supplier groups to resolve supply issues promptly; demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Identify & execute insourcing opportunities through OSC & FLO
- Manage catalog sourcing & pricing as well as custom competitively sourced projects
- Maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal / external customer needs.
- Manage suppliers to perform quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics.
- Ability to perform timely escalations on issues that arise during centralized sourcing exercises
- Compile price proposals, financial reports, and analyses to support price reasonableness, purchase quantity, and strategy; strong analytical skills required
- Participate in process improvement activities to improve internal processes for quality and productivity & deploy future state FSC centralization goals

Candidates must possess a BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering.
Experience
Minimum of 1-3years related experience in a supply chain function or Elevator Field experience
Experience in SDC
Experience in MOD eLog
Experience with Global JDE & associated systems (K2)
Microsoft products : Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms, SmartSheet, Teams
Other data manipulation programs is a plus
Ability to read Engineering drawings & customer Elevator / Escalator specification / requirement documentation required
Ability to work with various cross-functional groups, including Field Operations (Sales, Supervisors, Project Managers), Engineering, and Supplier Quality to ensure business goals are met
Must be able to work in and fully support a team environment

We seek a self-motivated, team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication abilities. He / she must be well-versed in related business processes, associated systems, problem-solving methods, and analytical tools. Our internal and external customers are essential; this position requires an excellent Customer Service attitude. A strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing are a strong plus.
The salary range for this role is $92,000-$104,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
