Overview :

The Quality Manager plans, coordinates, and directs quality processes designed to ensure quality control, quality assurance, and improvement of the production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The Quality Manager is responsible for performing and directing Quality Audits of the QMS system to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 and Dexter requirements for the Dexter Vents & Doors Business Unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design reviews, test, and / or integration to assure quality standards of product components and / or systems are achieved.
• Performs quality engineering reviews and / or design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality specifications and company quality records.
• Review purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.
• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.

Leads problem-solving activities to solve critical problems. Drive root cause and corrective actions – Must own and lead the quality process.

Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended

process improvements to management.

Perform statistical analysis and data analysis Assist in Warranty claims processing / investigations.
