Location : Minneapolis, MN / St Paul / Brooklyn Park

Job Type : Full-Time / Part-Time

Shift : 12 hour shift

About the Position :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of recent hands-on experience in caring for patients with tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators . This position involves working in a supportive and collaborative environment, delivering high-quality care to medically complex patients .

Responsibilities :

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with tracheostomies and / or ventilators
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings in collaboration with respiratory therapy
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning using sterile technique
• Recognize and respond to trach / vent-related emergencies (e.g., decannulation, vent alarms)
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status with interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on trach / vent care when applicable
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
