The Housing Counselor , in partnership with the Family Services Manager is responsible for the growth of all Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity (GRHFH) programs throughout Wayne & Ontario counties with respect to affordable homeownership. With the program framework largely established in Monroe County, the ideal candidate is a highly performing and motivated individual who will be entrusted to lead program expansion efforts into new communities across Wayne & Ontario County. The Housing Counselor will work to ensure the success of our program participants while focusing on what is in the best interest of the organization with respect to its goals, mission, and values.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships and work with people from a wide variety of social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Applications. Salesforce experience is a plus.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, accuracy, high attention to detail, and thoroughness.
Ability to operate efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of affordable housing and economic self-sufficiency barriers, and relevant community resources.
