Job Description :

  • We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic team at Mika Coral Gables.
  • As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals quickly and accurately, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
  • You will work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to maintain the flow of service and ensure that all orders are delivered promptly and to the highest standards.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all food orders are complete and accurate before delivery to the table.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist in setting up the dining area, including arranging tables, chairs, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Assist in clearing plates, silverware, and glassware from tables as guests finish their meals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that food runners’ stations are stocked and ready for use.
  • Support team members with any other tasks as needed to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, always providing excellent customer service.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to carry and balance large trays of food and beverages.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
