About The Position

Location : Anchorage, Alaska, USA Specialty : Mammography Technician Type : Travel Schedule : 5x8s Days Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel opportunity for an experienced Travel Mammography Technician in Anchorage, Alaska . This contract offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $3,100 , based on five 8-hour day shifts per week , providing an excellent balance of professional growth and adventure in one of the most beautiful and dynamic locations in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Mammography Technician :

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with physician orders and ACR / FDA guidelines
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring quality images and adherence to radiation safety standards
  • Accurately document and verify imaging data in the PACS system
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, and facility standards
  • Support a patient-centered environment by providing compassionate, professional care
  • Requirements of the Travel Mammography Technician :

  • Active ARRT (R) (M) certification required
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and interpersonal communication skills
