Shop Service Technician Small Bore Engine Assembly

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time 1st shift Engine Technician - Shop position with our Small Bore Engine Assembly Line available at our San Antonio Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday. This position is responsible for providing high-quality teardown inspection and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment responding to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and ensuring maximum value for work performed.

Qualifications :

• Perform complex repairs correctlysuch as teardown inspection repairs test running and / or painting of diesel engines in a shop environment.
• Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• GED or High School Diploma highly desired
• Must have steady employment.
• Ability to frequently reach bend walk etc.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs. approximately 15 times a day.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand
• Must have great leadership skills and be able to lead a team
• Direct Mechanical Experience is needed.
