Overview

Do you want to help make the world safe from cyber attack? At Corelight, we believe that cybersecurity risk starts with the network. Attackers leave digital footprints on the networks they traverse. Corelight transforms network footprints from physical, virtual and cloud networks into actionable insights, helping customers speed incident response and proactively hunt for threats. We are seeking a Director of Sales (AVP) to lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives in our Central territory. This is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, sales excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Strategic & Enterprise Account Executives, fostering professional growth and career development.
  • Own and drive revenue growth within the assigned region, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with RVPs and executive leadership to define and execute area sales strategy.
  • Coach reps on pipeline development, deal strategy, forecasting accuracy, and execution against Corelight’s sales methodology.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of sales processes, playbooks, and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (SEs, Marketing, Channel, Product) to drive joint success in the region.
  • Track performance metrics, provide regular reporting, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent Corelight externally with customers, partners, and industry events as a senior leader.
  • Champion Corelight’s culture of low ego results, tireless service and applied curiosity.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing a sales team
  • BA / BS technical degree or equivalent
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams that consistently achieve and exceed targets
  • Strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and executive presence with the ability to influence internally and externally
  • Data-driven decision-making and experience implementing structured sales methodologies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, distributed & remote environment
  • We value diverse backgrounds and a passion for learning; prior cybersecurity experience is a plus but not required

    Compensation and Apply

    Compensation Range : $340,000 - $390,000 USD. Notice of Pay Transparency : The compensation for this position may vary by location, skills and experience. Some compensation may be in the form of commissions or discretionary bonuses. Equity and additional benefits are also awarded.
