Overview :
Department : Float Pool
Shift : Full-Time, Days
As a dedicated Float Pool LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care across various units. Our goal is to provide high-quality nursing services to meet the diverse needs of our patients. In this position, you will utilize a range of clinical skills to support patients' psychosocial and physical well-being while fostering effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. This role operates under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct patient care which includes medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting patients with daily living activities in accordance with LPN practice.
Adapt quickly to various units and patient demographics as needed.
Monitor, document, and inform the supervising RN about patient conditions and any changes.
Assist in care coordination and educate patients and their families about care processes.
Work with the RN to personalize and assess patient care plans.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients, families, and staff.
Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications :
1. A current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintain it throughout employment.
3. A minimum of one year of experience in a related healthcare setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits :

The expected compensation range for this role is $33.00 to $36.62, which will be finalized based on various factors including experience, education, and qualifications.
