BC in EM, FM, IM, or Peds accepted

If not EM-trained : 2 years EM experience in the last 3 years required

BE must become BC within 5 years of eligibility

ACLS & PALS required for non-ABEM providers

Docs required : last 2 years CME, DEA with NC address, DL / photo ID, medical diploma, internship / residency certs, board cert

Recent EM residency (within 2 years) satisfies recent-experience requirement
