Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

This position involves working in an LDRP unit during night shifts.

Candidates must have the ability to care for laboring patients and provide couplet care.

Experience in triaging obstetrical patients is required.

Knowledge of the Epic documentation system is necessary.

Candidates should be comfortable with assisting in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and providing breastfeeding support.

The patient ratio for the unit is 3 : 1.

Most newborns will room in with parents, as couplet care is emphasized.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams.

A commitment to flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet unit needs.
