Duties
- Plans and conducts work that involves using judgment to independently evaluate, select, adapt and modify standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Independently performs most assignments with the instructions of the general results expected.
- Complete understanding of Plan Production/Project Work Flow.
- Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of the professional work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
- Acute awareness of schedules, deadlines and manhours required to complete projects and tasks.
- Responsible for training interns and EIT’s.
- Expected to delegate tasks and review the work of others
- Applicant must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
- 4+ years’ experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates, clients, other consultants, municipalities, etc.
- Self-motivated and deadline-sensitive with a can-do attitude. Strong time-management skills.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical (design) knowledge.
- Understanding of project schedules and budgets.
- Responsible charge of signing and sealing projects
