About the job

The TV Partner Engineering team is responsible for working with device manufacturers, OEM's, and SOC providers to deliver an exceptional TV experience.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant on our TV Partner Engineering team, you will own the technical relationship with one of our device manufacturing partners. Your mission is to ensure our partners build and launch high-quality TV devices on schedule. You will act as the primary technical advisor, guiding the partner through complex integration challenges and driving the resolution of critical bugs. This includes collaborating closely with internal Product and Engineering teams, leading essential testing programs, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to guarantee a seamless user experience at launch.

Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example : Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With over 110 million active users of our products plus being amidst the quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty of opportunities for the team and individuals in it.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
