Description

The Nuclear Medicine Specialist is responsible for performing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures under the supervision of the Cardiologist. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Nuclear Medicine principles and the ability to utilize the departmental procedure manual effectively. A significant degree of independent judgment, creativity, and initiative is necessary when conducting procedures. Collaboration within the team is essential to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications :

  • Education sufficient for licensing and registration.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire; or
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.

The indicated pay range is the base salary; there may be additional compensation opportunities for this role, including shift differentials, standby / on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
