Position Summary : The ideal candidate will support the District's mission and vision and will have the primary responsibility of assisting the building principal and school nurse with the medical needs of the school population.
District Summary
The William Penn School District is Located in southeastern Delaware County and serves approximately 5,000 students who reside in Aldan, Colwyn, Darby, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, and Yeadon Boroughs. We share a collective vision to educate, nurture and empower all students to become career and / or college ready.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties :
- Provide assistance and / or first aid to ill and injured students according to Standing Orders
- Administer medications according to district policy
- Monitor student health records; record screenings, update immunization records
- Assist with student screenings (height, weight, vision, hearing)
- Assist with parental communications
- Keep the Certified School Nurse informed of all situations
