This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for regional programs in the Western States, primarily California, with a focus on climate, energy, and environmental initiatives. The Program Director will guide a diverse team, develop and implement integrated strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Acting as a key regional spokesperson, this position cultivates partnerships with local stakeholders, policymakers, and communities to advance impactful programs. Accountabilities

The Program Director will be responsible for :

• Leading and managing the Western States team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a positive work environment.
• Developing and executing integrated program and campaign strategies aligned with annual work plans.
• Overseeing program budgets, resource allocation, reporting, and operational planning.
• Representing the organization to boards, advisory councils, donors, and key stakeholders.
• Maintaining knowledge of climate, energy, transportation, agriculture, water, and related policy initiatives in the Western States.
• Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with government officials, NGOs, academic institutions, and community partners.
• Collaborating across organizational departments to scale impact and share best practices.
• Serving as a spokesperson and engaging in visibility-building efforts to communicate program successes and priorities.
