Job Summary and Qualifications

CNC is responsible for the clinical management thru the post-op coordination of patient care; supervises the development, implementation, and organization of the ENT Program; as well as the coordination of care for these surgical patient. Coordinates between surgeons, hospital administration and staff while tracking the progress of these patients. and identifying areas requiring attention. Responsible for all program management, report generation and review, process improvement, patient satisfaction, and administrative activities related this service line.

What qualifications you will need :

• Required Experience : 1+ years of RN and or applicable experience.
• Preferred Experience : Pulmonary patient care
• Required Education :   Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position. Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members. Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptions should this information be needed. RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt.
• Preferred Education : Master's Degree in Nursing
• Required License :  Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and / or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Required Certification : BLS
