Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our pain management specialists to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

This role involves providing direct patient care, assisting with interventional procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. The position requires travel between Pacific Pain clinic locations to support patient care and clinic operations. This is a part-time to full-time opportunity, with the potential for growth based on performance and clinic needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans utilizing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, lab studies).
• Educate patients on pain management strategies, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to other specialists when appropriate.
• Assist with interventional pain procedures (experience with joint or trigger point injections is a plus).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory and practice standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
• Understand and comply with insurance and authorization processes to ensure proper approvals.
