POSITION SUMMARY :
The Entry-Level Low Voltage Installer will play a crucial role in the installation, servicing, and repair of low voltage infrastructure and various equipment. As an entry-level position, comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training will be provided under the guidance of the LV Manager. This role will involve travel and may require overnight stays at job sites. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Technical Expertise
- Execute complete installations and connections for various infrastructure, including copper communication cables, fiber optic cables, physical security hardware, and wireless products.
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace equipment components as necessary.
- Manage your own inventory efficiently.
- Consistently meet or exceed productivity standards as set by the manager.
- Care for and maintain company property responsibly.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
- Be proficient in access control systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Training Requirements
Complete all assigned certifications.Follow training programs, policies, and guidelines closely, under the supervision of your manager.Demonstrate mechanical skills necessary for the repair and service of designated equipment according to industry standards.Attend scheduled training sessions to enhance your knowledge of Basic Low Voltage communication and security networks.On-the-Job Training
Receive direction and perform tasks related to the installation and repair of connectivity products and equipment at customer locations and / or the shop facility.Install equipment modifications and accessories as necessary.Work Conditions
The work environment is dynamic and high-energy, involving daily interactions with clients.
Occasional evening and / or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.Some travel and overnight stays will be required.The noise level is usually minimal.Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds is required.Customer Service

Knowledge : This position requires basic installation knowledge, including mechanics, Low Voltage electrical circuitry, power tools, and basic computer literacy.Skills : Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.Abilities : Ability to systematically approach and resolve problems while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Candidates must be able to read and understand technical documents, manuals, and publications.
