Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities

- Work with the technical implementation teams to understand the product document requirements.
\n
Create and edit high-quality technical documentation for mobile applications, including software and system architecture, design, and product requirements.\n
Assist in the creation and submission of documentation required for compliance with our Quality Management System.\n
Assist in establishing and continuously improving the standardization and simplification of technical writing processes, procedures, and style guidelines.\n
Contribute to documentation development lifecycle improvements\n
Convert legacy / previous formatting to latest formatting / style guidelines.\n
Create documentation based on standardized templates.\n
Analyze and edit content to maintain continuity of style and content.\n
Assess the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended.\n
Conduct document reviews and collect input from stakeholders.\n
Create data flow diagrams, component diagrams, and similar technical illustrations.\n \n
Qualifications
\n
Bachelor's Degree\n
Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.\n
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining / holding a U.S. security clearance\n
At least 2 (two) years of experience in : Writing technical reports, analyzing technical literature, writing descriptive copy, and verifying documentation with appropriate sources.Ability to use various word-processing and desktop publishing software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, ADOBE CC, HTML, and XML.S1000D specification for the production of technical publications.\n \n
