Leading aerospace / military company seeking Military parts background with either purchasing or buying experience!

Responsibilities :

Source, evaluate, and purchase electronic and military-grade components in compliance with industry standards and regulations (ITAR, DFARS, etc.).

Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality and reliability.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to forecast purchasing needs and ensure timely material availability.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier communications, and ERP system updates.

Resolve supplier performance issues and manage corrective actions as needed.

Support audits, compliance initiatives, and adherence to AS9100 / ISO standards.

Qualifications :

2+ years of purchasing or buying experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, or electronics manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of electronic components and / or military parts supply chains.

Familiarity with government compliance standards (ITAR, DFARS) preferred.

Proficient with ERP / MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
