About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior SEM / Paid Search Strategist with 7+ years of solid experience to join a team managing accounts with $20MM+ annual budgets. Must have lead generation experience working with large budgets; franchise experience preferred but not required.
Must Have Exceptional Analytics and Strategy Development Skills
You MUST be a Subject Matter Expert and up to date with the latest Google, MSN, and other paid channels have to offer and how to incorporate these latest offerings into our clients campaigns.
Video and Display Experience
Although the accounts are primarily Search-centric, we're looking for someone with Video and Display experience who can speak intelligently to these channels both from a strategic and technical standpoint.
Project and Task Management
Additionally, we need some one with exceptional project and task management skills as you will may be responsible for overall task management and communication with the team.
Qualifications
7+ years of solid, hands-on SEM / Paid Search experience
5+ years of account management experience
2+ years of building and managing Google Display campaigns
Has managed accounts with multi-million dollar budgets
Has experience managing complex lead generation campaigns
Google Analytics Expert and GA4
Power BI and Big Query
Criteo, AdRoll, and Top of Funnel marketing channels
Proficient in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Excel, and / or google sheets
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and ensure agency-client alignment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skill (ability to interpret data and provide strategic guidance)
Creative problem solver with a balance of strategic thinking and detailed execution
An understanding of search metrics (quality score, CTR, CVR, impression share, etc.)
Strong organizational skills
Fast learner
Open-minded and willing to learn
You MUST have AMAZING GA4 Analytical Skills and the ability to link GA4 and Google Ads, Troubleshoot, etc.
You MUST have EXCELLENT Excel skills with the ability to create AdHoc reports, Analyze Data, etc
You Will Be Responsible For
Managing and scaling $20MM+ annually, primarily across Google and MSN Ads, but potentially other channels as well.
Interfacing with C-level execs and providing regular performance updates
Communicating performance results and providing analysis and insights (must be comfortable with data)
Strategic recommendations and implementation
Setting, communicating, and meeting expectations
Building and maintaining a strong rapport with clients
Staying ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging capabilities in the digital landscape
Assist in training / mentoring more junior level SEM managers
Reporting client / account issues / concerns to your supervisor when necessary
