Occupational Therapist, Acute Rehabilitation

Location : Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301

Department : Acute Rehabilitation

Position Type : Full Time, 36 hours / week, Exempt

Schedule : Four 9-hour shifts, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm with rotating weekends within a four-week rotation.

Your role with us

As an occupational therapist in our Acute Rehabilitation team at Salem Health, you will be evaluating and treating patients in a wide variety of specialty areas such as neuro-trauma, orthopedics, neurology, medical / surgical, intensive care and so much more. Be part of our Centers of Excellence, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, spine surgery and stroke recovery.

What you'll do

• Conduct evidence-based evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, speech therapists, and care managers.
• Deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care with a strong emphasis on communication and customer service.
• Communicate professionally and effectively within the team and across departments.
