About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Interventional Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum 1 year License : State licensed required Certifications : BLS, Fluoro Permit Must-Have : - ARRT registered - SCRQSA certification - Ability to float to other units as needed Description : Monday to Friday shift from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. One night of call per week and call every seventh weekend. Staff must be willing to float to other units as requests arise due to patient census concerns. Staff will float only to units for which they are qualified. PACS experience is required. Charting system experience is necessary. Experience with 3D imaging and managing ports is essential. Knowledge of various procedures, including angioplasty, central venous access, and embolization, is required. Candidates should have skills in maintaining equipment and inventory. Experience in patient care for various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, is important. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is vital. Compliance with all required health and safety protocols is expected. Flexibility to cover holiday shifts as required. Commitment to maintaining a sterile field during procedures is necessary. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
