Overview
LABORER- PART TIME — City of Rolla Public Works Department
Responsibilities
- Mow the Airport grounds and fuel various aircraft.
- Perform light maintenance of the buildings and clean the lobby / waiting areas / bathrooms.
- Operate equipment and handle tasks related to credit card machines, tractors, bush hogs, and standard fuel trucks.
- Hours generally vary, typically Monday – Friday from 12 : 00 – 6 : 00 p.m.; some weekend work may be required.
- Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
- Will be climbing ladders and balancing while fueling planes.
Education and Experience (Minimum)
Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of a GED examination and one year experience in the operation of light construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and / or experience.Special Qualifications
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a NATA fueling license.Physical Demands (ADA)
