- Patient care experience
- Proficiency in MRI equipment operation
Description :
Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely.
Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
Accountable for the positioning and immobilization of patients.
Selects appropriate technical factors and performs computer reformatting of acquired data.
Prepares patients for procedures, which may include transporting, transferring, and positioning.
Explains procedures to patients while considering their physical and emotional needs.
Cleans and prepares the equipment and scanner room for each patient.
Stocks and supplies the room as needed.
Performs daily quality assurance on MRI scanners.
Verifies the safe operation of all other patient equipment.
Notifies appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and needed repairs.
Maintains pertinent records.
