FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Location : Lubbock, TX

Compensation : $45,760 – $52,000 / year (DOE)

Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Friday

OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the full accounting cycle for a growing, fast-paced organization with multiple operating entities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a hands-on environment managing daily accounting, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accrual-based accounting , QuickBooks Desktop , and restaurant or hospitality industry accounting . This is a key role supporting ownership and management with accurate, timely financial data and organized documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities, including daily sales postings , invoicing , and bank reconciliations .
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries , departmental accounting, and accrual-based financials.
• Process accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly P&L statements , balance sheets, and supporting financial reports for ownership review.
• Track and reconcile inventory , payroll accruals, and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate with CPA for monthly or quarterly reporting and year-end documentation.
• Process bi-weekly payroll , including time sheets, tax reporting, and benefits deductions.
• Maintain and update employee files in compliance with company policies.
• Digitize and organize invoices and receipts for efficient recordkeeping.
• Support ownership with budget tracking, bill payments, and special projects as assigned.
