Psychiatrist, U.S. Army – Full Time and Part Time Positions

As a Psychiatrist, youll examine, diagnose, and support the mental health and resilience of patients with emotional or mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or situational instability. Youll work among the best in your field to conduct groundbreaking research in crucial psychiatric issues and provide the best courses of treatment and care to our Soldiers.

Active Duty (Full-Time)

• Loan Repayment : Receive $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).
• Sign-on Bonus : $600,000 signing (accession) bonus plus $43,000 incentive pay annually, and board certification pay $8,000 a year prorated monthly.
• Location : Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.
• Time Off : 30 days paid vacation annually plus over 20 days for federal holidays and "Days of no Scheduled Activities."
