Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Neuromuscular Neurology

Work Schedule :

100% FTE. Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm. No weekends, call, holidays, or nights. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

As an advanced practice provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Neuromuscular Neurology to :

• Provide care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses commonly encountered in adult neuromuscular outpatient, inpatient, and procedure-based settings.
• See patients in outpatient clinic for follow-up for various neuromuscular disorders, routine post-procedure care and manage complications related to procedures and specialized drug administration.
• Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements / scope of practice including, but not limited to, the following : Skin biopsies, and specialty medication administration.

At UW Health, you will have :

Education :

If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
