Job Description

Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to identify revenues and expense variance. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks and functions within the job. Competent in General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Job Qualifications

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

Three (3) years of accounting experience, preferably in a Financial Institution. To include two (2) years of preparing financial statements preferred.
