Garage Attendant

Job overview :

Assist members by parking their cars in designated areas, assisting with luggage, and providing information about the club facilities and services to maximize member satisfaction.

The Garage Attendant is responsible for the following :

  • Explain and promote club facility, outlets, and services to members to increase member satisfaction. Provide member with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Greet arriving members, assist incoming and outgoing members parking their cars in designated areas and return vehicle at members' request in a safe and timely manner.
  • Respond quickly to member requests or complaints in a professional manner and ensure appropriate action is taken. Follow up to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Conduct inspection of vehicle and record information on valet ticket and in Logbook.
  • Provide luggage assistance to members and / or bell staff as needed.
  • Provide non-valet parking instructions / guidance / assistance to members upon arrival.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of driving experience. Must speak fluent English. Alcohol awareness certification. Must have a valid driver's license.

This job requires ability to perform the following :

  • Frequently standing up and moving about the guest entrance, lobby areas, garage and or other parking / valet areas
  • Running to retrieve cars from valet area
  • Knowledge of locale
  • Other :

  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with members and guests.
  • Ability to drive cars with either manual and automatic transmissions
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often.
  • Basic math skills are used frequently.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and / or holidays.
