Arizona Licensed Utilization Management Pharmacist

A company is looking for a Pharmacist, Utilization Management (UM).

Key Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison between the organization and its customers regarding pharmacy benefits

Ensures compliance with coverage determination and appeals processes

Monitors drug utilization and collaborates with leadership on quality and cost-control initiatives

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), formulary, or managed care setting

Active and unrestricted Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in applicable state(s)

Current knowledge and expertise in clinical pharmacology and disease management

Proficiency in compiling data, creating reports, and presenting information

Ability to function independently and manage multiple projects
