Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Location : Bothell, WA
Duration : 1 year, with potential extension up to 4 years
Work Schedule : 8 AM 5 PM. Expect ~10 hours of overtime weekly
Position Overview
Due to a lab migration from Canyon Park to North Creek, additional support is needed for instrumentation and maintenance operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and a strong
willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, utilities, and equipment across production, warehouse, and lab areas.
- Work under supervision with increasing independence as training and experience grow.
- Coordinate with departments to schedule maintenance around production timelines.
- Manage monthly self-assigned tasks and escalate conflicts to the Maintenance Lead.
- Follow instructions for routine and new tasks; perform basic troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Complete non-routine repair work orders and document activities per compliance standards.
- Log equipment events in CMMS and assist with documentation for corrective / preventive actions.
- Escort and supervise contractors during inspections or repairs.
- Identify and order spare / replacement parts using inventory systems.
- Assist with moving and installing major lab equipment.
- Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA, ISPE, or FDA guidelines.
- Attend required training seminars and courses.
- Adhere to company's Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
Must-Have :
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or related fieldExperience with manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systemsStrong soft skills : responsive, eager to learn, dependable (especially for on-call duties)Preferred :Experience in regulated environments (e.g., food, beverage, pharmaceutical)
