Richmond, VA Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Richmond, VA . This position offers high-acuity patient exposure, cross-credentialing at multiple facilities, and competitive compensation in a Level 2 Trauma Center with extensive subspecialty backup .

Opportunity Details :

  • Location : Richmond, VA ( Cross-Credentialing at 3 Facilities Required )
  • Contract Type : Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Shift Schedule : Variable, 63 hours of physician coverage daily
  • APP Coverage : 21 hours per day
  • Minimum Commitment : Flexible
  • Practice Setting : Physician-led Emergency Department

  • 340-Bed Hospital | 80 ED Beds
  • Level 2 Trauma Center
  • Separate Pediatric Emergency Department

  • Temp Privileges : Available for clean files

    • Patient Load & Flow :

  • Patients Per Hour : 1.59
  • Admission Rate : 25%

    • Provider Requirements :

  • Certification : ABEM Board Certified
  • Licensure : Active & Unrestricted VA State License & DEA
  • Required Certifications : ACLS (for sedation privileges)
