Job Summary : The Food Service Aide assists the Food Service Coordinator in the serving of meals, proper storage of food and the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, utensils and work areas. (Rover) You may be required to commute to various school sites as a part of the normal duties listed above.

Hours : 7 : 00am - 04 : 00pm or 07 : 00am - 03 : 30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : KNOWLEDGE OF :

• Standard kitchen equipment, utensils and measurements; record keeping techniques. Principles and practices of supervision and training; sanitation and safety practices related to serving food.
• Sanitation practices related to preparing, handling and serving food.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Operation of food service equipment.
• Techniques to properly store perishable foods.
