Description :

MUST have 1 year of behavioral health experience.

BLS certification is required.

Start dates are available on specific dates.

Shifts consist of 3 shifts per week.

Weekends are required as needed, typically every other weekend.

One major winter holiday commitment is required.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

May be requested to float to adult inpatient units.

Refusal to float as requested will result in contract cancellation.

Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week of their assignment.

Mandatory cancellations must occur 1.5 hours before the start of a shift.

Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty.

Total staffed beds are 107 in the facility.

Scrubs should be of any color except all black and camo.

Charting is done in Epic.

Free parking is available onsite.

Patient age groups include adults.

Daily census typically averages between 20-30 patients, with fluctuations throughout the day.

Patients will be in recliners for the duration of their stay.

Special procedures include triage and disposition for admission or discharge.

Utilization of restraint and seclusion protocols is required.

Equipment used includes restraint chairs, Hoyer lifts, and hover mats for patient assistance.

Epic experience is required for RNs.

Locals cannot live within 50 miles of the facility.

No time off is allowed within the first two weeks; maximum of 7 days of time off is permitted.

Oregon state license or proof of application for the license is required.

One reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager is required with submission.

No felony hits are allowed in background checks.

Time between contracts should meet the one-year separation rule.
