Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Gadsden, AL

Start Date : 1 / 12 / 26

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday–Friday

Start time as early as 7 : 00 AM, end time as late as 5 : 00 PM

Requirements : Current SLP license

BLS certification

Minimum 3 years of adult SLP experience, including at least 2 years in acute care

Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow studies

Outpatient experience preferred : comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients, including ability to perform ESTIM

Role Overview :

The Travel SLP is responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for speech therapy services. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting treatment programs. The SLP communicates recommendations with caregivers, participates in discharge planning, provides patient / family education, engages in administrative duties and performance improvement initiatives, and pursues professional growth.
